HOLOGRAPHIC HEALING

Placebos and Consciousness Restructuring through REM
by Graywolf Swinney

Abstract:  The placebo effect and spontaneous healing are two of the most powerful yet discounted healing phenomena known in the healing arts and sciences.  They are consciousness events in which consciousness and matter interact to naturally change or transform diseased structures into healing process or flow.  Dreams are our personal experience of REM consciousness and embody the quantum reality wherein nothing seemingly miraculously becomes something.  CRP uses REM to facilitate healing change.  CRP is a healing process that resembles the placebo effect, using imaginal sensory imagery in wakened REM to follow dream symbols or action to its root in protosensory structure and experience.  This structure, stored deep in the subconscious, is a primal, existential, sensory self-image--the existential hologram.  Access to the consciousness dynamics [hologram] that underlie our self and diseases is best accomplished in the consciousness state associated with its formation, perhaps while the individual was still a fetus.

THE QUANTUM BODY-MIND

by Graywolf Swinney and Iona Miller

The quantum body-mind exists on the creative edge of spacetime reality.  It is a self-organizing, emergent force of consciousness which arises from the formless level of reality in which there is no distinction between matter and energy.  This quantum zone is where something is created from nothing or the sum of all possibilities.  The primordial consciousness field patterns and conditions our primal existential self.  Chaos is thetransformative  process by which outmoded structures dissolve and new ones create themselves.  The quantum mind-body floats on an ocean of undifferentiated potential or chaotic consciousness.  It draws on the emerging waves to form our personal reality.  Our ordinary reality forms just this side of the Unbound Self--our state of Godness.
Consciousness does exist and operate at the quantum level of reality and affects the nature or course of reality just as our thoughts and other consciousness activities do at the macro levels of reality.  Individual consciousness may be abstracted from an underlying pool of consciousness, in the same way as the observed quantum wave packet is collapsed from an overall wave function.  A basic unit of consciousness is described as a "conscioutron", which is neither a wave nor a particle of consciousness but is the potential for both.  Conscioutrons are fundamental units of consciousness energy-matter arising from the consciousness field.  They are the basis of all our sensations, thoughts, emotions, and conscious awareness.  Out of infinite possibility, out of the constant flux of infinite possibilities, a quantum shift can create a different reality, a healing shift, a creative restructuring of the whole person.

Grant Solicitation

The following paper is an experimental project for a grant solicitation.  The detection of theoretical psychophysical channels for the healing effects of the Consciousness Restructuring Process (CRP) are explored and proposed.  The main avenues are 128 channel Electroencephalograph (EEG) and EEG Neuralfeedback.  This is a pilot study, of  which this paper describes the experiments of Phase 1.  This paper is designed to accompany a grant proposal suitably formatted for any mental health field or consciousness studies grantor.  Since we are seeking funding, if you are a source or know a potential source of grant funds, please let us know by e-mail or phone (541) 476-0492.

THE NEUROPSYCHOLOGY
OF CRP, DREAMS, AND REM

P300 Waves and PGO Spikes
and their Role in Consciousness Restructuring
by Iona Miller, Graywolf Swinney, and John Penkert
Asklepia Foundation, c2001

Abstract:  This paper describes a grant solicitation where a protocol for detection of P300 MERMERS and PGO wave-generation during Consciousness Restructuring sessions is outlined.  MERMERS indicate a psychological significance of the stimuli to the subject, whether that object is physical or imaginal.  They may help us objectively document psychological shifts in internal states during therapy which lead toward spontaneous healing.
During dreams PGO activity is interpreted by the brain as sensory stimulation.  Through self-organizing dynamics, coherent dream experiences emerge from the influence of apparently unpatterned PGO stimulation.  When the dreaming brain is free of external sensory patterns of neural excitation, it is subject to even subtle influences.  PGO waves provide perturbation that keeps the dream narrative in motion, that produces bifurcations in attractor patterns, and leads to abrupt alterations in dream experiences.  Likewise PGO spikes may signal the bifurcations and content changes seen in consciousness journeys.  PGO stimulation may be related to plot shifts during REM, and this is subject to potential verification with 128 channel EEG.

The Fractal Nature of Active Sleep and Waking Dreams

Restructuring Consciousness
through Metaphor, Fetal REM, and Neural Plasticity

by Iona Miller and Graywolf Swinney
Asklepia Foundation, c2001

Abstract:  The hypothesis of Harvard biopsychiatrist, C.M. Anderson (1998) provides some enticing substantiation for psychophysical restructuring in the CRP Journeys.  His work is centered around the psychotropic and oneiric aspects of the shamanic entheogen iboga, used by the Bwiti tribe of Africa, and more recently employed therapeutically by Harold Lotsoff and Dr. Robert Goutarel for the elimination of chemical dependency and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).  Drug-free shamanism shares many common features with this therapy: initiatory waking-dream journeys, shamanic guidance, quick life review, psychedelic states of consciousness, spontaneous fetal regression, journeys to “the land of the dead,” and the induction and facilitation of Self-organized Critical States (SOCs) which result in restructuring of fundamental neural patterns.
Stress or abuse in early life leads to hemispheric asymmetry which is implicated in a wide variety of disorders.  CRP allows us to “exercise” unused pathways and reinstate hemispheric synchronization.  Disorders of under- and over-arousal can be dynamically balanced, reinstituting organismic equilibration.  The fractal nature of REM allows us to process and restructure old emotional patterns, at the sensorimotor root by reviving neural plasticity.  CRP facilitates the Self-Organized Critical state (SOCs) which initiates cascading therapeutic reactions which are robust and persist over time.

Grant Solicitation

Theta and co-consciousness training is Phase 2 of our Grant Solicitation and Pilot Study of the phenomena of CRP journeys.  Co-consciousness, a state of deep rapport, is taught through shamanic techniques, within the journey process, and through individual and shared biofeedback (neuralfeedback) training.  The pilot study seeks to determine if resonant brainwave rhythms are, in fact, observable through EEG monitoring of both parties during the shared journey; and if theta training facilitates integrative experiences, and psi sensitivity.  Further studies would try to detect temporal lobe transients (TLTs) or microseizures, associated with meaningful, spiritual experiences.

CRP and THETA REVERIE

Theta Training
and Co-Consciousness in Shared Journeys

by Iona Miller and Graywolf Swinney
IACS, c2001

Abstract: The theta range of brainwave activity is four to seven cycles per second.  This is reportedly the psychic range of the mind and the area from which psychic experiences emerge is the temporal lobe, source of most theta generation.  Children under seven have a predominance of theta, although they experience other ranges as well.  Therefore, children in this age group are highly receptive to suggestions or “programming” from all sources.  In theta, learning is extremely rapid, and may be subliminal.
Co-consciousness, the shared virtuality of the journey process, is a telepathic rapport wherein both participant’s brainwaves become synchronized or entrained, in essence, into a single holographic biofield.  Co-consciousness might be measured via the observation of spontaneously shared, matching or resonating brainwave frequencies. Experimental verification (through EEG monitoring of both participants) of these hypotheses is scheduled as the second experiment in our pilot study of CRP phenomena.
Conversely, in the CRP training program, theta training in deep reverie via biofeedback offers trainees a definite experience of the target state.  Most subjects can increase their alpha production easily; theta is more difficult but also can be increased.  A second part of this experiment would be to induce shared states of consciousness via shared biofeedback where both parties synch to the same deepening rhythm toward a very deeply internalized focus.

Grant Solicitation

Phase 3 of Asklepia's grant solicitation and Pilot Study Program is an experiment in neuromagnetic therapy where waveshaped electromagnetic feedback is applied to various lobes of the brain.  An experiment is proposed using German acupuncture equipment, Mora and Indumet machines, to supply magnetic pulses which affect consciousness and psychophysical imagery.  IACS already has this equipment in its lab, awaiting the completion of  Parts 1 and 2 of the Pilot Study, which objectively document psychophysical changes and internal states at certain key moments in the CRP journeys.

NEUROMAGNETIC THERAPY
The Role of Electromagnetic Fields
in Consciousness Engineering

by Iona Miller and Richard Miller, (Physicist; Instrumentation Specialist)
A Joint Project of IACS and O.A.K., Inc.

Abstract:  In nature the electromagnetic field is seamlessly welded together.  However, when we make models of the human organism, we often treat electricity and magnetism as separate operators.  The role of magnetic fields in consciousness has been largely overlooked in favor of focusing on electric fields in neurons, (except in the diagnostic area of MRI).  Magnetic signals can travel from one part of the brain to another much faster than electrical signals can travel along neurons.  Evidence (Persinger, 1987) suggests that magnetic signals play an important role in managing states of consciousness.
Specific magnetic waveforms can carry the same information content as the EEG.  These waveforms can actively kindle and entrain areas of the brain in a rhythmic feedback cycle, creating a structure that can completely dominate the person’s experience.  At this point, the signals become complex magnetic signals, because they are not simple repeating patterns.  Such entrainment has shown promise for the treatment of a variety of disorders including stress and clinical depression.  An experiment is proposed using German acupuncture equipment, Mora and Indumet machines, to apply magnetic pulses, specific waveforms to the occipital region.
Entrainment is also seen in the auditorily-induced beat-frequency or frequency following response (FFR).  This phenomena is created by playing two different stereo signals into the ears which pulse at different frequencies, (Monroe).  The difference between them is the frequency the brainwaves begin to resonate with--usually alpha rhythms.  FFR on an audio tape used with headphones can actively drive the brainwaves toward alpha production.

God IS in the Details

Fractal Iteration of Self-Image and Disease Patterns;
A Transmodern Vision of Spontaneous Healing

by Iona Miller and Graywolf Swinney
Asklepia Foundation, 1/2001

Abstract:  God is literally in the details.  Fractal iteration distributes the spiritual blueprint of all matter/energy/consciousness throughout every conceivable level of observation.  We humans are the metabolic end product of the senses, beginning with protosensations experienced in the womb.  The bodymind produces its own drugs, which activate and amplify their own healing response.
How does the organism know and remember its self-image, body-image and disease patterns?  Complex feedback networks function as or are the backbone of systemic memory--of universal living memory.  Feedback is a dynamic systemic process that takes place and evolves over time.  This essentially synergetic process persists whether we think of systemic memory as:
recursive memory
resonance memory
feedback memory
back-action memory
circulation memory
iterative memory
embedding memory
entangled memory
complexity memory
chaos memory
network memory
non-linear systems memory
self-organization memory, or
self-revising memory

LIGHT SLEEPERS

Working in Wakened REM Consciousness
A Collection of Self-Reports from CRP Journeys

Abstract:  Sojourners into the CRP are quite literally Light Sleepers, consciousness travellers working in wakened REM consciousness.  These waking dreams present endless and fascinating varieties of inner experiences and carry deep meaning for both the mentor and mentored, since they co-create the process in co-consciousness.
This paper attempts to capture the color and range of the journeys through a variety of tales told by those who participated in them.  These self-reports are often candid and personalistic, but certain generic themes are reiterated throughout journey, each series of journeys and among different participants.  The theory and practice of this self-organizing, unfolding process is the subject of DREAMHEALING: Chaos, Creativity, and Consciousness by Graywolf Swinney and Iona Miller.

EXOTIC MATTER AND ENERGY

Vacuum Fluctuation in the Macro- and Microcosm
(or, Surfing the Primordial Gravity Waves)

by Iona Miller, 12/2000

In the beginning was the Void.  Sound waves [the Word] originated in the first instant of the universe’s life, when the cosmos underwent an extraordinary expansion.  No one really knows what drove it, but by stretching the very fabric of space, it magnified a weird subatomic phenomenon that is known today as the spontaneous materialization of particles from a complete vacuum.  Vacuum fluctuation underlies both cosmology and quantum processes.
Vacuum-spawned particles are constantly flickering in and out of existence around us, arising from and sinking back into the void.  During inflation, this process like everything else in the universe, was magnified tremendously.  The rapidly expanding early universe imparted enough energy to these particle wannabes that instead of quickly subsiding into the vacuum, they remained in the real world.  The sudden influx of countless particles from the vacuum was like a stone thrown into the dense particle pond of the early universe, sending out ripples--pressure waves.  And pressure waves rippling through a gas are nothing more than sound waves.  The entire universe rang like a bell.
Those reverberations were abruptly silenced 13 billion years ago, when the universe became transparent.  Once photons were traveling freely through space, [“Let there be Light!”], there was no longer enough pressure to support the sound waves.  But before fading forever, those echoes of creation had left their mark on the cosmic microwave background.  When sound waves were still spreading through the universe, they compresssed the particle soup in some regions of the cosmos and rarefied it in others.  Pressure changes cause temperature changes--increase the pressure in a gas and the temperature increases.  Microwave photons coming from these various regions have slightly different temperatures.  The temperature patterns show the universe just as it was when the particle fog--and the sound waves--vanished.

THE PHYSICS OF CONSCIOUSNESS ENGINEERING

The Role of Enfolded Order in Mindbody and Personality

by Iona Miller
Asklepia Foundation, c2001

Abstract:  Quantum Mechanics has a severe foundation problem: the missing chaos, or in other words, the problem of the hidden order.  Application of the Maxwell's quaternion theory and mathematician Whittaker's work to QM produces a superset of QM, where the missing chaos is restored.  Including the infolded scalar EM energy of the vacuum potential restores an underlying unity to general relativity and EM theory.  It unites EM and gravity in a unified field theory.  You have to apply self-organizing chaos for any macrostructures to emerge from the undifferentiated fundamental condition.  Not only is the mass potential a scalar EM potential, it is also a gravitational potential.  Note that the concept of the mass potentials is a unifying field concept, for unifying gravity and EM fields.  Mind, matter, thought, and the deepest biological control functions use the Whittaker internal electromagnetics as bodymind software.  What is involved is not only a unification of the branches of physics, but also a unification of physics and metaphysics.
Living systems alter this internal EM Whittaker channel (this spacetime lattice structure) and communicate through it for mind, thought, personality, long-term memory, and deep control of cellular and body functions.  The Whittaker potentials interact in the nuclear mass potential of the body--and that is where the signals and functions for deep cellular control, immune system control, etc. are located.  The mind consist of stabilized Whittaker structures inside the living system's biopotential.  Thoughts are a special class of changes/waves in that overall Whittaker-structure ensemble.  The personal unconscious is a single, small, localized sample of yet a greater collection that represents even deeper unconsciousness.  That is why the unconscious is unconscious, just as the vacuum potential is non-observable.

AS ABOVE; SO BELOW
The Mysteries of Quantum Metaphysics
by Iona Miller, c12/2000

Abstract:  Our place in cosmic history depends on the delicate interplay between the very big and the very small.  Chaos and complexity theory show us that patterns tend to reiterate and persist (like fractals) at all levels of observation: “As Above; So Below.”  There are a few competing theories for describing the subquantal nature of Reality in both quantum cosmology and quantum physics.  The field patterns of the finest organization of energy and matter also affect the evolution of the cosmos.  The various models include a non-zero cosmological constant, quintessence, tracker fields, Bohm’s implicate order, and the varying-speed-of-light (VSL) theory.
Similar mechanisms also describe the mind/matter interface--the holistic organism--the holographic mindbody.  They describe how infinite pure potential becomes actualized as human consciousness--how the superposed quantum potentials collapse into a single tangible wavefunction--how mind becomes matter.  Here again, there is competition for the process which describes the source or virtual groundstate of our consciousness.  Strictly statistical and mechanical views of consciousness have failed to account for the richness of inner and outer human experience.
How are waves of possibility transduced into classical or macrocosmic forms?  The models presented include Stapp’s cations, Walker’s synaptic tunneling, Penrose’s quantum gravity, Marshall’s Bose-Einstein condensate, and Goertzel’s Ons algebra, and Hammeroff’s microtubules.
